I’m sure this happens to a number of us. You buy bananas, with every intention to eat all of them, and then one just gets too ripe before you get the chance to eat it. Now what? Well, if you’re anything like me, and you hate wasting any food because you were raised to view food as a blessing, you freeze the banana in hope to use it for either a smoothie or banana bread. Now before you rule out banana bread as an option, hear me out. If you’re looking for something healthy, skip to part b). For all of you looking for something simply delicious, I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of listening to what is or what isn’t good for you. Everything changes from one day to another, and people also tend to zoom in one an item when they hear that it’s good for you and throw it out the moment it’s no longer popular. I choose to live by an “everything in moderation” rule. Therefore, the occasional banana bread is undoubtedly delicious and should therefore be enjoyed.
b) It has been proven that cinnamon, walnuts, dark chocolate chips and bananas are all good for you, which can all be found in my Chocolate Chip, Cinnamon Walnut Banana Bread recipe. So please remember, it is after all, justifiably good for you!!!
Now if you don’t like banana bread, what’s wrong with you!?
